Sunon Yellow Tea

Sunon Yellow Tea is from Huashan, Anhui Province, China. Yellow teas are a rare variety of Chinese tea. They are prepared in a similar way to green tea, but rather than rolling before drying, the leaves are left damp to slightly oxidize the tea. This process turns the leaves and the tea soup a pale golden yellow hue and develops its unique flavor profile.

Our Huashan Yellow Tea is unique. You'll notice the sweet scent right when you open the bag, and once steeped, you will appreciate the fresh, clean aroma. Its flavor profile is similar to a high mountain oolong but with a smooth, rich, buttery mouthfeel. At first sip, it has a mellow body and notes of sweet corn and buttery greens, with a lingering aftertaste.
