[EN] I'm fairly new to white tea (tried a few over the years, but had always been disappointed by their lack of taste). This is something else, a strong and lasting taste, somewhere between oolong and pu-erh. I still prefer either of these, but this is a nice variation - notably in cold brew, as suggested by Nikau Ferguson-Spence (thanks) ... after which it's still good for a long time in hot brew

[EN] The size of one pearl is enough for at least 10 steeps. I recommend a water temp of 180 - 183 to provoke the opening of leaves. Rinse for a good half minute as the flavor will be very mild in your first 2 steeps. After about the 5 pour, the cha qi of your cup will fill your head space with true enjoyment. For a low-cost leaf, this is a good experience for longer lasting session, or you can save the pearl for a second session later in the day/evening. Very much comparable to their Old Tree Yue Guan Bai Cha. Very filling for the stomach. No need for food to accompany this leaf. I will keep stocking with this until they run out.

[EN] Brewed gongfu style, a mild and surprisingly sweet white tea with definite honey overtones which become milder and more fruit blossom-like after around the fourth infusion. A high quality white tea and a must try for anyone who likes honey flavours.

[EN] My first large pearl brewing experience. I do a lot of Gong Fu brewing but pearls (especially this large) take time to open. I highly recommend a rinse. And a step of at least a minute. Keep in mind being cooler at around 175-180 will bring it a more floral tone bring higher at 190-95 will make it taste more woody. It does have a nice clear liquid and is smooth. It's aged and smells like mao feng. (A green tea blend I love)
